Whatever your business, we create interiors to inspire visitors and staff alike
The Design Process.
-
The Brief.
It all begins with an idea and a brief.
We will visit you and hear your ideas. We will look at the space and really think about what you are trying to achieve. No matter how large or small the project, the initial stage of setting a brief is so important.
-
The Concept.
Once we have agreed a brief, a budget and a timescale, it is over to us to come up with a Concept.
We will research and present appropriate imagery and visual references for initial discussions to identify the design and concept direction; we will research market and case studies and brand values; we will consider mechanical and electrical elements and mains services into the scheme and we will find component, furniture and material ideas appropriate to the interior and brand concept. Most importantly, we will investigate layouts and spatial arrangements.
-
The Scheme.
Once the concept direction has been agreed we move onto developing the Scheme, taking into account your amendments.
Each project is different, but a scheme proposal might include brand proposals, plans, layouts, sample boards and visuals in order for spatial layouts, materials, colours, fixtures and fittings and lighting to be agreed
-
The Drawings.
We can provide a full working drawings package and will liaise with Building Control and Planning on your behalf.
-
The Details.
We can design furniture and fittings if you require and will work with local craftsmen to give you something totally bespoke.
At this final stage of the design work, we will provide a full specification list of materials, .colours, fittings and furnishings for you to take the project to contractors for them to tender.
-
The Build.
Once we have provided all the working drawings and the full specifications, and contractors have been appointed, we can project manage the work and help manage the work on site if you require.
